Pre-booking Terms & Conditions
You are entering into a contract with Newlands Cross Hotel trading as Bewley’s Hotel Dublin Airport (“Bewley’s Hotel”) for car parking in the Car Park of Bewley’s Hotel for the Parking Period confirmed in the online car park pre-booking process, comprising a series of calendar days or part thereof on the dates as set out in your Pre-booking Confirmation Email. The date of the contract is the date and time of confirmation of the booking as contained in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email sent to the email address provided by you when making the pre-booking and confirmed by you during the online pre-booking process on Bewley’s Hotel’s website.
1. Parties and Nature of these Terms and Conditions
1.1. In these Terms and Conditions any reference to "Bewley’s Hotel" is to Newlands Cross Hotel trading as Bewley’s Hotel Dublin Airport whose registered office is at Red Cow Complex, Naas Road, Dublin 22 (Company Registration No. 239848).
1.2. Any reference to "you" and "your" refers to any person who is deemed by Bewley’s Hotel to have made a car park pre-booking.
1.3. The term "Car Park" means the specific area at Bewley’s Hotel as may be designated from time to time for car parking by Bewley’s Hotel.
1.4. The term "Parking Period" means the period of car parking required comprising a series of calendar days or part thereof as described in the online pre-booking service.
1.5. The term "Pre-booking Confirmation Email" means the email sent to you by Bewley’s Hotel confirming all details of the pre-booking once payment for the pre-booking has been received in full by Bewley’s Hotel.
1.6. The term "Invoice Number" means the unique number assigned to your car park pre-booking and contained in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email and the attached invoice sent to you by Bewley’s Hotel. This number should be retained safely as it will be necessary for any further communication with Bewley’s Hotel regarding the pre-booking.
1.7. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all pre-bookings for car parking at Bewley’s Hotel Car Park made electronically through the Bewley’s Hotel website (http://www.bewleyshotels.com/dublin_airport/parking/).
1.8. No employee or representative of Bewley’s Hotel has the authority to vary any of these Terms and Conditions.
1.9 Each confirmed pre-booking as detailed in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email shall constitute a contract between you and Bewley’s Hotel. This contract will be at all times governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
2. Car Park Pre-booking and Payment - General Provisions
2.1. A Car Park pre-booking is deemed to have been placed when made electronically through the Bewley’s Hotel website. Payment for the pre-booking must be made online at the time of pre-booking when prompted to do so using a valid Laser debit card or Visa or Mastercard credit card. Bewley’s Hotel reserves the right not to fulfil your booking if:
The payment card is declined for whatever reason;
It is established that the payment card has been used fraudulently or without the cardholder's permission;
You are under the age of 18.
It will be necessary for your personal data to be disclosed to the relevant card issuer for the purpose of processing and confirming your payment. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties other than the relevant financial institution for the chosen payment method.
Please note that the list of accepted payment cards is complete at the date of posting of these Terms and Conditions but may be changed at any time at the absolute discretion of Bewley’s Hotel.
2.2 Bookings made less than 6 hours in advance of your Car Park entry time and date will not be accepted.
2.3 Important: Please note that only one pre-booking for a Parking Period should be made using an individual debit or credit card. It is not advisable to use a single payment card to make multiple pre-bookings during the same Parking Period or to pre-book overlapping Parking Periods. In cases where customers wish to make multiple or overlapping pre-bookings they are advised to use separate debit or credit cards for each transaction.
2.4 All prices quoted are in Euro and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate - currently 23% VAT (from 1st January 2012). When a pre-booking is made using a credit card issued outside of the Republic of Ireland the card issuer will debit your account in local currency at the exchange rate applicable on the processing date. Additional conversion or other charges may be applicable and this will be at your cost.
2.5 If your card payment is rejected then your pre-booking will not be fulfilled or validated until Bewley’s Hotel has received cleared funds.
2.6 Bewley’s Hotel reserves the right not to accept a pre-booking if it is incomplete in any way.
2.7 The Bewley’s Hotel’s VAT registration number is 8239848Q.
3. Car Park Pre-booking
3.1 Provided you satisfactorily complete the pre-booking and payment procedures and parking capacity is available for the times and dates specified you will receive a Pre-booking Confirmation E-mail confirming your car park pre-booking and attaching a tax invoice both of which will contain your unique Invoice Number.
3.2 Your pre-booking is non-transferable from you to another party.
3.3 Pre-bookings will be deemed to have been accepted upon receipt by you of your Pre-booking Confirmation Email.
3.4 The pre-booking details and Invoice Number contained in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email is only valid for:
The dates and times shown;
At the Euro price shown;
For car parking at Bewley’s Hotel during the stated Parking Period, subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Car Park Terms and Conditions of Use as displayed at the entrance point to the car park.
3.5 The tariff charge applied is that at the time of the pre-booking. Details of current parking tariffs are set out on the Bewley’s Hotel website.
3.6 Use of the car park at Dublin Airport is at all times subject to the Car Park Terms and Conditions of Use which are posted at the entrance to the Car Park and reproduced here for ease of reference:
Car Park Terms and Conditions of Use:
Vehicles are left in this car park at the owner's sole risk in all respects;
Bewley’s Hotel nor any of its servants or agents accept liability for any accident, loss or damage to persons, vehicles, accessories or contents however caused;
Vehicles not claimed within three months may be disposed of or sold to defray expenses;
The placing of a vehicle in the car park shall be deemed to be an unqualified acceptance of these conditions.
3.7 Important: You must bring both the same car whose licence plate details you provided when making the booking and the same credit or debit card used to make the booking with you to commence the Parking Period at the Car Park.
4. Car Park Pricing Policy and Calculation of Parking Charges
4.1 If your Car Park entry and exit times change from that specified in your Pre-booking Confirmation Email (and you fail to make the appropriate amendment to your booking) as a result of which your Parking Period in the car park is greater than the Parking Period booked (Overstay*), your debit or credit card will be charged at the standard car parking rate of 1 (one) Euro per hour up to a maximum of 8 (eight) Euro per day.
4.2 For the avoidance of any doubt please note the following:
4.2.1 Any queries in relation to payment can be made in writing to: Car Park Manager, Bewley's Hotel, Stockhole Lane, (N32 Junction), Co Dublin, Ireland or via email to email@example.com with the following detail enclosed:
Arrival date & time;
Departure date & time;
Car registration number used to make the booking;
Daytime telephone number;
4.3 Parking charges will be deducted from your credit or debit card on or immediately following the date the pre-booking or other payment is made.
5. Lost or Forgotten Debit or Credit Cards
5.1 It is vitally important that upon your arrival at Bewley’s Hotel to commence the Parking Period and again upon your return to the Car Park at the end of same that you ensure that you:
Use the vehicle with the licence plate specified in your pre-booking, ensuring that the licence plate is clean, undamaged and not obscured in any way;
Have the credit or debit card used to make the pre-booking in your possession;
Follow all the instructions contained in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email and Invoice.
5.2 If your licence plate is different from that specified in the pre-booking or is not recognised by the system you must insert the credit or debit card used to make the pre-booking into the terminal located at the entry or exit to the car park. If you do not have the credit or debit card with you or experience difficulty at this point you should press the button on the terminal and/or take a Car Park ticket from the machine or proceed to Bewley’s Hotel Reception. On completion of your air journey or business at Bewley’s Hotel and before returning to your car you must contact Bewley’s Hotel Reception. Please note that you may be asked to produce evidence of your identity. If it is possible to verify your pre-booking the applicable car parking charge will be that as contained in your Pre-booking Confirmation Email.
5.3 If you do not have your credit or debit card with you upon completion of your air journey or business at Bewley’s Hotel and before you return to your car you should proceed to Bewley’s Hotel Reception. At this point you may be asked to produce evidence of your identity and your pre-booking details. If it is possible to verify your pre-booking your car parking charge will be that as contained in your Pre-booking Confirmation Email.
5.4 In the circumstances referred to in Sections 5.2 or 5.3 where it is not possible to verify your pre-booking you will be charged at the applicable full daily rate for the Parking Period. If you subsequently furnish to Bewley’s Hotel sufficient information to enable Bewley’s Hotel to verify your pre-booking Bewley’s Hotel will refund any excess charges incurred by you other than any sums charged in accordance with Section 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
5.5 If you remain unable to produce evidence to enable verification by Bewley’s Hotel of your booking Bewley’s Hotel reserves the right to make all enquiries which it deems to be necessary and reasonable prior to the release of the vehicle from the car park.
6. Cancellations or Amendments to Pre-bookings for Car Parking
6.1 Should you wish to cancel your booking or any part thereof you should do so using the “Manage My Booking” link on Bewleys Hotels website. You will require your unique pre-booking reference number and email address you used to make your booking in order to access your pre-booking. Bewleys Aiport Car Park must receive notice of your requested changes at least 24 hours before the stated start time and date of the parking period. The card used to make the online booking will be automatically refunded the booking fee less the cancellation fee of 6.50 Euro (six fifty)
6.2 Should you cancel your booking within 24 hours before the stated start time and date of the parking period the card used to make the the online booking will be automatically charged with a cancellation fee of 13 (thirteen) Euro or the full amount of your car parking fee if it is less than 13 (thirteen) Euro.
6.3 Should you decide to extend or amend your online booking this will be treated as a new booking. You should use the “Manage My Booking” link to amend your booking on Bewleys hotels website. You will require your unique “Invoice” number and email address used to make your booking in order to access your booking. Bewleys Airport Car Park must receive notice of your requested changes at least 24 hours before the stated start time and date of the parking period. The prices charged for the new booking will be based on spaces and products available at the points in time and may not include the same prices as offered when the initial booking was made. In particular a customer seeking to extend an online booking which was accepted at a particular price and subsequently is seeking to extend the duration of that booking may not necessarily retain the original price as part of a new booking. Any new booking will be available only at the prices pertaining to particular product offerings at the time of the new booking.
6.4 No refunds will be made other than in circumstances expressly provided for in these Terms and Conditions at Sections 5.4, 6.6 and 10 specifically
6.5 Refunds will only be made to the credit or debit card used to make the online pre booking and then only upon receipt of a letter to Car Park Manager, Bewley's Hotel, Baskin Lane, Swords, Co Dublin, Ireland or an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details enclosed:
Arrival date & time
Departure date & time
Car registration number used to make the booking
Daytime telephone number
6.6 If Bewley’s Hotel cancels your pre-booking for a reason within its direct control and not due to a force majeure event (see Section 7) then Bewley’s Hotel will refund the amount it has received in connection with your pre-booking to you on the card used for the pre-booking.
6.7 In the event that your pre-booking is cancelled or amended you will receive formal notification of the cancellation or amendment by email sent to the email address provided during the pre-booking procedure.
7. Force Majeure
Bewley’s Hotel shall not be liable for any cancellation, curtailment or otherwise caused by reason of war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports, cancellation or changes of schedules by airlines, and all similar events beyond its control. Further Bewley’s Hotel cannot accept responsibility where the performance or prompt performance of this contract with you is prevented or affected as a result of such circumstances beyond Bewley’s Hotel’s or your control.
8. Bewley’s Hotel's Liability
8.1 You should be advised that the Bewley’s Hotel’s Car Park is the private property of Bewley’s Hotel. Bewley’s Hotel offers no warranty or indemnity as to the protection or safety of the vehicles left in the Car Park or any goods left within the vehicles. The use of the Car Park, and the use of any services provided by a third party in the Car Park (including for the avoidance of doubt any valeting), is entirely at your own risk. Bewley’s Hotel, its servants and agents accept no liability in respect of:
(a) any loss, destruction, damage or theft of or from the vehicle or the contents of the vehicle; or
(b) subject to Section 8.2 death or personal injury sustained by you and/or other person.
8.2 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits the liability of Bewley’s Hotel for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by Bewley’s Hotel 's negligence;
(b) any matter for which it would be illegal for Bewley’s Hotel to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability; or
(c) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
8.4 The Car Park terms and conditions as set out in the notice at the entrance to the Car Park and as reproduced in these Terms and Conditions for ease of reference apply to all parking at Bewley’s Hotel whether pre-booked or otherwise. Section 3.6 of these Terms and Conditions also refers.
8.5 Bewley’s Hotel reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions but once you have made an online pre-booking the applicable Terms and Conditions are those posted on the website at the time of pre-booking. However customers must not assume that the Terms and Conditions that applied on one occasion will continue to apply on another occasion. Bewley’s Hotel recommends that customers always read the Terms and Conditions before making any pre-booking.
8.6 Bewley’s Hotel can vary or withdraw any offers without notice.
8.7 Bewley’s Hotel is supplying you with car parking under this contract and will not be responsible for any costs, compensation costs or expenses relating to any flights or other services that you may have arranged. You are at all times responsible for ensuring that you allow sufficient time for car parking relating to any onward air journey and travel arrangements.
9. Shuttle Bus Service
9.1 Bewley’s Hotel provides a 24 hour operational shuttle bus service between Bewley’s Hotel and the Coach Park located at Dublin Airport Zone 14.
9.2 You are advised that it is your responsibility to allow an adequate amount of time to find a parking space, unload luggage and passengers, secure the car and walk to the shuttle bus pick-up area. Furthermore it is your responsibility to allow sufficient time for transfer between Bewley’s Hotel Car Park and the Coach Park using the shuttle bus service and thereafter for walking to the passenger terminal buildings, bearing in mind the check-in times specified by your carrier.
9.3 Bewley’s Hotel does not accept responsibility if you miss your flight, check-in or any other transport or other arrangements because you have not allowed adequate time or if the shuttle bus service is delayed e.g. due to exceptional traffic or weather conditions.
10. Bewley’s Hotel's Right to Cancel or Provide Alternative Car Park
Bewley’s Hotel reserves the right if prevented from supplying the Car Park for any reason to cancel the contract or provide an equivalent alternative Car Park. In the event of such circumstances Bewley’s Hotel will use its best endeavours to provide as much notice to the customer as possible and in the event of cancellation of the contract by Bewley’s Hotel becoming necessary, Bewley’s Hotel will refund the payment received for the pre-booking but will not be responsible for any other costs, which you may incur as a result.
If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be declared invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part by any competent court or other authority whose decisions shall have the force of law binding on the parties, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions together with your Booking Confirmation E-mail constitute the entire agreement between you and Bewley’s Hotel with respect to the provision of the relevant services.

Bewley’s Hotel expressly disclaims all and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this website or the information, content, materials or products included in this website including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Bewley’s Hotel does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this website is accurate, complete or current e.g. tariff and car park availability information is subject to change without notice.
Except as specifically stated on this website, neither Bewley’s Hotel nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included on this website.
This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
*Overstay - a car staying for longer than the stay set out in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email calculated in whole days.
*No Show – when no record of arrival is captured within 24 hours of the date /time set out in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email.
*Early Entry – a car entering the Car Park more than one hour before the time set out in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email;
*Late Exit – a car exiting the Car Park after the time set out in the Pre-booking Confirmation Email.
