Hotel accommodation was up to expectation and not to be faulted. However the evening dining experience in the Restraunt was poor. The same dishs oredered on consecutive nights were inconsistant in standard and content, staff helpfull but I felt abandoned, 'scallop' dish not up to scratch, menu descriptions did not equal that which arrived. In contrast, I have always been satisfied with Bewleys at Dublin Airport etc.

A great weekend, my wife treated me to a weekend away for my birthday which included a trip to ER for stadium tour & match. Hotel was more than we expected, friendly reception on arrival. Large spacious rooms. City Centre very good, Tiger Tiger - great food & atmosphere / Worlds Hot Buffet a MUST !!

Room was clean and tidy and was very happy with the service, room and breakfast which were all above par. I would have considered upgrading my room, however the upgraded room didn't appear to offer anything that would have improved on my stay except for maybe some complimentary biscuits and some toiletries (which I wouldn't have paid £15 for). I found the free wi-fi didn't quite reach the 7th floor and some basic toiletries in the room would have been a nice touch. I feel that t is also worth noting that the towells that are being used need replacing as they are becoming a bit thin and rough through age (either that or they are low quality towells). It was nice to have a TV in the room with some basic digital channels, however an additional option of some further channels or movies as offered by some hotels would have been nice. however these things, whilst they would have made a nice addition to my stay didn't make for a worse stay and I would still happily stay at Bewleys again.

Clean and well equipped rooms and friendly staff, perfect for a flying visit to Leeds

Room was very good: clean, spacious and well furnished. I'd recommend the exec. package. Dinner in bar and in brasserie were very good; good value and good service. Reception was okay but a bit stony faced, a smile and a more relaxed attitude would be appreciated. Breakfast is the only disappointment. I'm not a fan of the 'institution' style queue and serve yourself approach. Something a bit more relaxed and smarter would be better, e.g. separate tables rather than a single line of counters. Plus, please explain to your staff that if a guest leaves a napkin/newspaper on their chair it means they haven't finished their meal. A couple to times I went back to get more tea/bread and in the 1 minute I was away, I had my breakfast things cleared away! Very efficient but very annoying. Generally, very good value and recommended

Hotel stay was good but there were a few issues with the restaurant. Service is very slow if you just want to eat and go as it took over 90 minutes for me to be served. Waitress staff are good but lack attention and do not listen. Sent soup back to kitchen twice to be heated up.

Location was good for Leeds city centre, parking on site, room extremely clean and quiet. Our room deal included 2 free breakfasts which were delicious. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

Very comfortable and spacious room, accommodation was 1st class. However we stayed 2 nights and decided to treat ourselves to a Bewleys breakfast on Sunday morning, what a disappointment! The breakfast starts at 8am and the cooked items seemed as if they had all been prepared by 8am, we arrived after 9am and the bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled egg was 'warm' at best and certainly not freshly cooked. There were more staff members than customers at that time and they were quite happy to converse with each other. They should have been cooking breakfasts to order in my opinion. Maybe breakfasts are OK on weekdays. Had we not had breakfast there would have been no complaints from me, value for money definitely.

the only probelms were that there was no hot water in the mroning so i was unable to shower. I was disappointed with the breakfast choices , not very much choice for the healthy options. Service in the restaurant was rather slow, but the food was ok.

Lovely clean hotel, extremely busy as we stayed on New Years Eve. Reception staff handled the volume of customers efficiently. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We have stayed at this hotel previously and have not been disappointed.
Sophie Ford on 8-Jan-2012:

Abbey Bryce on 8-Jan-2012:
Amazing amazing hotel!!!!! This was my 4th stay and on nye, love Leeds and wouldn't stay anywhere else, rooms are very clean and have everything we need, reception are very helpful! Hotel seemed to be mainly full of younger groups of people which is why I think I enjoyed it more! The atmosphere was great and the security guards are on the door at night which makes you feel safe. Its right next to the city (walking distant) and taxis constantly outside for when you go out! Prices are really good too! Wouldn't stay anywhere else! Thank you!
Hotel Guest on 8-Jan-2012:
Great stay. Thanks

The hotel food was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable.
Michael Lea on 3-Jan-2012:
This was a good stay as there was not to much of a queue for checking in and checking out.
Marilyn Carroll on 29-Dec-2011:
I asked for a quiet room and got one. I didn't hear a thing from neighbouring rooms or from the corridor. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would have preferred a bit more selection on breakfast cereals. The muesli was a bit boring but there was plenty of choices.
Hotel Guest on 29-Dec-2011:
The hotel rooms needs bringing up to date with flat screens, better quality of towels and a lick of paint.
Hotel Guest on 25-Dec-2011:
convenient for both Eland Road & the centre. Clean & tidy and not too expensive
paul combellack on 25-Dec-2011:
having stayed at bewleys many times and enjoyed the food and accommodation very much, i was disappointed that during my stay on 16th / 17th december we could not eat in the restaurant, fair enough this was due to xmas parties but it would of been nice to have been informed of this when i booked so i could of made other arrangements for evening meals.
Hotel Guest on 24-Dec-2011:
Very basis rooms for the money paid
Christoforos Alexiou on 21-Dec-2011:
Friendly staff, excellent room service, superior room quality!
Jackie Topp on 20-Dec-2011:
Mostly comfortable hotel however the room was rather warm and there was insufficient milk for the two of us to have a drink in the morning. Disabled facilities were very good. Breakfast was goo. Staff were courteous
Hotel Guest on 19-Dec-2011:
I have stayed at Bewleys Leeds a few times and always enjoy the experience. Thank you
Neil Molton on 19-Dec-2011:
The only thing that let the place down was the totally flavourless breakfast.
michael allen on 18-Dec-2011:
I have to say that our stay was first class from the room which was very clean and had everything to all the staff. Breakfasts nicely cooked as much as you liked and hot.
Hotel Guest on 18-Dec-2011:
My girlfriend lost one of her earings, so she called the hotel and the staff manged to find this and said they would pop it in the post. This was a Christmas present the previous year and my girlfriend was very happy the staff had made such an effort to find this for her.
Hotel Guest on 17-Dec-2011:
my first impression was that the receptionist was a bit abrupt, but after that it was a very pleasant stay
Helen Clarke on 17-Dec-2011:
Excellent helpful staff fine with late check in. good to have 12 oclock check out. very clean room lots of towels and hot water. breakfast good and hot with good opening times. close to centre of Leeds thanks r
Hotel Guest on 16-Dec-2011:
Everything seemed fine for the one night I stayed. I liked the express checkout system.
Ray Hale on 14-Dec-2011:
Restraunt wait for evening meals was longer than expected , evrything else was fine in regrads to dinning Rooms where well laid out and comfortable with good options for TV Ambience of the foyer bar area is good but seemed dullish upon impression perhaps some brightening up with fresh flowers and splash of colour Car parking is difficult due to space but this was fine once you got the defined area in your mind. overall it was a good stay and would come back again , we are increasingly using leeds as a new hub for business and would reccomend this for our group Regards ,
Hotel Guest on 14-Dec-2011:
I found the hotel to be a lovely suprise, the rooms were really large and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. There were no issues with noise during my stay. i would definately recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay whilst in leeds.
Gary Homes on 14-Dec-2011:
On the plus side: Conveniently located; great room; welcoming & efficient reception staff; clean and comfortable; reasonably good value for money. On the minus side: noisey radiator in my room (708 - constant sound of rushing water) but I did not want to turn it down/off as it was cold; very slow service on my last night in the restaurant (45 minutes from ordering to getting burger & chips) with absolutely no communications from restaurant staff about the delay or reasons for it. Whatever the issue was in the kitchen, everywhere has occasional problems and I accept that but restaurant staff need training in customer care. I view these issues as a one-off at this point in time so I will be happy to return to Bewleys in the future.
Dawn Curzons on 14-Dec-2011:
I have always found Bewleys to be a very welcoming place to stay. This trip I had a complaint about the amount of time I was kept waiting in the restaurant, it was dealt with by the duty manager very efficiently and restored my faith in the hotel. I will be returning.
susanne zebda on 12-Dec-2011:
I stayed at the Bewleys Hotel for 1 night on business. In general I was very happy, the service was excellent both in the restaurant and the front desk, the rooms very large with free internet excess and very close to train station, I would defiantly stay again. Unfortunately no soap to wash your hands or coffee and tea facilities in your room.
Lynsey dewars on 11-Dec-2011:
Fantastic hotel! My second visit and there will be more to come. My only comment is the reception staff seemed to dilly dally about, they might not of been in a hurry but I'd been in the car for 4hours
Hannah Powell on 11-Dec-2011:
Really helpful reception staff, esp valentine
Hotel Guest on 8-Dec-2011:
room felt rather dated and 'cheap'
Mark Jordan on 4-Dec-2011:
The cost of the bar seemed excessive
Hotel Guest on 4-Dec-2011:
We checked in and ask to book an evening meal. The girl on reception told us to do so at the restaurant. On doing so we were told there was aprivate function in the restaurant and it would be closed. The least the hotel could have done prior to our arrival to let us know and we could have made alternate arrangements as we were going to a show and needed to eat early. We ate in the bar which is all very well but not the same as a restaurant that we looked forward to. We were a party of 4 so subsiquently we will not book again at this hotel. Everything else was good but this spoiled the Saturday evening meal.
robert mcculloch on 3-Dec-2011:
weekend away was wasted by the food chef could not cook a simple steak and rabbit dish had only mushrooms in it We were told chef was haveing a bad day Had to go as we had to go to the theartre offered a meal when we came back Dont think curry or chilli was a good idea at 11 oclock Got a discount when we checked out but it is not the money the weekend had been wasted by a chef how was haveing a bad day Room and the rest of the staff were very good
terry hazell on 2-Dec-2011:
Your service/facities are consistantly good, however we do encouinter sluggish check in/check out. We will return !
Hotel Guest on 2-Dec-2011:
The general quality of the hotel and the room was very good, as ever. The evening meal was excellent and the only disappointment was the breakfast as several of the items were not very hot (although I appreciate that it was near the end of the breakfast session).
Willem van kekem on 2-Dec-2011:
Hotel is a good Hotel .Clean rooms .friendly service.Only the cash machine in the Lobby is a disaster everey time I visit the hotel it failed.
Howard Carpenter on 29-Nov-2011:
I'm surprised that key essentials are not included in a room e.g. toothbrush and toothpaste. Poor really when it's a business hotel.
Caron Berry on 29-Nov-2011:
Great staff on reception able to book in early and rooms ready. a nice hotel. breakfast was good cereals poor quality not kellogs. Our only negative barman tried to overcharge and ran out of baileys and port.
