Bewley's Hotel Leeds - Reviews

Hi it was my first time to Leeds Bewleys and I thought the hotel was modern, well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful. Some minor downsides were the rooms look a bit dated and need a refresh, ... i.e. why do UK hotels still have old CRT televisions? Also I was in a non-smoking room and could still smell smoke in the corridor and at breakfast it was help yourself to even a table. Just think if these things were improved it would be a top hotel to stay at rather than just a good one. Breakfast, staff and location very good. ---

Room was Basic but OK although a little hot. What spoilt our stay was getting stuck in the lift with little regard for our welfare or ability to get down the staircase with our luggage following the incident. Breakfast was similar to being in a works canteen.

The stay was not helped by not having any porter service to take our bags to the room, being told that they were too busy helping a coach party did not please us. The Friday and Saturday nights were ... extremely noisy will hen and stag parties taking over the bar and then being woken at 3am as the revellers returned to their room. Perhaps you should make clear the hotel is for yourgsters. I wouldn't book there in future. D E Downs ---

Great hotel, we really enjoyed the stay there - the fab Fridays deal is a great idea and we will be using it again!
