Our Food....

The diverse selection of delicious starters, wholesome main courses and tantalising desserts on the Brasserie menu's at Bewley’s Hotels are reflective of the passion and enthusiasm our chefs have/group chef Brian McCarthy has for Irish ingredients, local suppliers and sustainable sourcing. Our beef comes from Limerick suppliers ‘Ashgrove Meats’ who have supplied the Moran Group for over 30 years. Beef is aged for a minimum 28 days. We use only free range eggs, supplied by ‘Tolka’ in Dublin and our duck is supplied by award winning ‘Silver Hill’ in Co Monaghan. Pork and Bacon is from Pallas Foods and all of our poultry comes from Irish farms.

Hotel guests in particular feel at home in the Brasserie. Away from home frequently they know what it feels like to crave home cooking. With this in mind chef has created a palate of wholesome, hearty dishes like ‘Mammy makes’ from stews, casseroles and slow cooked pork belly in the cold months to warm the cockles and ………to and hearty steaks all year round . Portions are generous, only the best of what is in season is used and prices reflect great value.

A hearty Bewley’s breakfast in the Brasserie is just what you need to set you up for the day. Featuring only the best Irish produce we are officially the only Hotel Group in Ireland offering a ‘Fully Irish Irish Breakfast’. Bewley’s sausages and rashers are 100%, 3rd party accredited ensuring a lower salt content (through the Bord Bia’s assurance scheme), Irish in origin and traceable back to the farmer, as is Bewley’s black and white puddingand free range eggs, supplied by Tolka Eggs.



Families and ‘young diners’ are also catered for at the Brasserie Restaurant. As any of you with children have discovered, eating out can be a lovely treat but it can also be very hard work if the venue of choice is not family friendly. There are certain details that can make the whole experience much more enjoyable for all concerned and these are all catered for at the Brasserie. These include the availability of high chairs, a carefully designed ‘young diners’ menu which includes half portions of adult meals if preferred, a range of healthy fruit juices and colouring crayons to keep the children happily entertained during mealtime.
